STRATEGIC CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

Driving and monitoring supplier and company performance by managing contracts through Contract Price Management, value improvement/risk reduction, and feedback to suppliers and stakeholders through performance reviews

Initiate Contract Management

  • Identify Stakeholders & Define Roles and Responsibilities​
  • Conduct Internal and External Kick-off Meetings​
  • Develop Performance Measurement System​ (Measuring Performance, KPIs, Supplier Performance Score Card)​
  • Agree on Contract Management Plan (CMP)​
  • Agree on Relationship Management Process


Manage Contract

  • Measure Partner's Financial Health & Performance (KPIs) 
  • Conduct Performance Reviews (Tier 1: 1x quarter, Tier 2: 1x year) 
  • Manage Contract Pricing (Competitive Advantage Measurement System (CAMS™)/Price Discipline™) ​
  • Conduct Value Improvement Programs (AIM&DRIVE® Strategic Cost Challenge) 
  • Manage & Control Contract Changes, Claims & Disputes 


Close Contract

  • Conclude Supply Agreement​ with either "Path Forward Checklist" or the "Contract Termination Checklist" depending on whether contract is being renewed or terminated.
  • Evaluate Partner's and Company's performance and share feedback
  • Capture Lessons Learned​
